Interns' Farewell Reception Photos,

In the presence of Christine May MSP and Bill Aitken MSP, the fourteen interns who started their internship in September '04 received their 'certificates' from Professor David McCrone, the Director of the Institute of Governance, at a reception in the Raeburn Room of Edinburgh University's Old College on 14 December 2004.

Both Bill Aitken and Christine May emphasised the good work the interns had done and their good company, while David McCrone and Paddy Bort mentioned that this group had "made history" by being the first group of interns to work in the new parliament building which was officially opened in October 2004.

The next group of interns starts their tuition phase on 17 January 2005 – and will be in Parliament from mid February to the end of April '05.
