Every year, the Edinburgh Territorial Politics Research Group participates in a Winter School of Territorial Politics, bringing together PhD-students from more than 11 universities in 9 countries. The school is co-ordinated by the Institut d'Etudes Politques de Paris and the Université Catholique de Louvain (Louvain-la Neuve). Research students wishing to participate in the Winter School should have a good passive knowledge of French (most courses are taught in French, although a majority of the readings are in English).
